Revised Nursery drop off / pick up times

Following a review after our initial return to Nursery after Lockdown 2, there will be an amendment to drop off and pick up staggered times for groups. At Kinross Nursery, we continually review procedures and organisation of our learning environment to ensure the safety of both pupils and staff, but also to best meet the needs of our young learners.

From Monday 8 March, 2021, the following drop off / pick up times will be in place:

Miss Layland (Birch) / Miss Gavin (Rowan) - 8.45am / 2.45pm
Mrs Ritchie (Pine) / Mrs Powell (Oak) - 8.55am / 2.55pm
Miss Gardiner (Acorn) / Mrs Donaldson (Hazel) / Mrs Haig (Holly) - 9.05am / 3.05pm
Mrs Grace (Cherry) / Mrs Williamson (Willow) - 9.15am / 3.15pm

We would ask that only one adult accompanies each child to Nursery, and that the times above are strictly adhered to. This is to minimise transmission between bubble groups. Children arriving at their allocated time, will be taken first.

All adults should be wearing face covering at drop off and pick up. This will include staff who are meeting and greeting adults outside.

The First Minister has made the following statements regarding the risks associated with the return to nursery and expectations for parents / carers, "The risk is that schools going back might lead to parents socialising more, at the school gates for example, or returning to the workplace rather than working from home. And so - although I do know how difficult this is - I am asking parents and employers to make sure this doesn’t happen.
