MacMillan House Event

On Friday 27 September, Kinross Primary School will be hosting a MacMillan House Coffee event to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The event will provide a great opportunity for pupils to bake with their parents/carers if they wish to make a contribution. Alternatively, you can ‘fake it’ with a shop-bought donation! Families with children in more than one school house can divide their baking between houses. Baking should be delivered to the school on the morning of Friday 27 September. Please mark your baking clearly with your child’s name and all of the ingredients used.

Classes have been allocated a timeslot where they can visit the event with their class teacher to purchase baking. Parents/carers can also visit at the same time as their child’s class. Alternatively, all parents are welcome between 10.30-11am or 2.30-3.30pm. Arrangements will be made for children whose parents would prefer that they do not visit with their class but with their parent instead at 3pm.

We would ask that the parents of children with allergies provide baking that is clearly marked with their name and ingredients if they wish to take part. This will be located on a separate table so that it can be clearly located by the pupil. Alternatively, parents can choose to visit with their child at 3pm.

All profits will go to MacMillan Cancer Support. Houses will earn points based on how much their house raises for charity. Please note there is no expectation that every pupil will provide baking. It is a voluntary contribution only.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the tea/coffee and selling of cakes. If you are available on Friday 27 September, please contact the school office.
